# Move to Category

Moves an app to a different [category](/guide/main-screen/categories). Tap ⋮ on an app card, then **Move to Category**.

## How it works

- A dialog lists your categories (with the app's current one marked).
- Pick the destination category; the app moves immediately and the list re-filters.

## Notes

- Categories are purely organizational — moving an app doesn't change how it builds or runs.
- Add or edit categories from the [category tabs](/guide/main-screen/categories).
